Gambrinus Catering School now in MadridThursday, September 29th 2011
Heineken’s Gambrinus Catering School in Spain is growing and thus, Acesur is growing too due to the agreement that binds both parties. This school is now in Madrid from September after reaching agreement with the chef Pedro Larumbe, and will be located in his brand new restaurant at 38 Castellana Street. The opening party, that took place at the restaurant, was also the launching celebration of this new base of the Gambrinus Catering School. Directors from both the Beer Company and Acesur, attended this event, along with many renowned chefs and members of the Catering School, headed by the Director Mr. Jesus Barrio, with the intention of reinforcing the prestige and category of the current Schools sited in Seville and Jaen, and also strongly determined to be a referent for further Catering Schools in the North of Spain.
According to the Spanish Magazine Negocio, the investment of Heineken in these Catering Schools reaches 5 million Euros. Up until now, more than 7.000 pupils have learned at this Catering School, where Acesur takes an important part not only as olive oil supplier, but also as a partner on many formative projects about the olive oil culture. This new base in Madrid will also be an indirect way of presenting our range of products to be used and promoted among the new culinary talents.
