Letter from Mr. Juan Ramón Guillen: Thank you… and keep moving forward!

A tough year is passing by and we are looking forward to receiving the new one with great expectations. We are going through uncertain times, but in Acesur we believe in the future, mainly because we have built it step by step, with a quiet but constant effort and work on planning and strategic development.

We rather thinking that all the good news we are presenting in this bulletin are not more by luck than judgment. The acknowledgement to Acesur through different awards such as “Foods of Spain”, “Capital” Prize or the inclusion in the prestigious guide “Flos Olei” are not just a stroke of luck. In fact, they are the result of a constant work aimed to become more and more competitive, dynamic, solvent and efficient every day in an uncertain business environment.

But knowing where we’re going also implies that we must be conscious of the importance of some principles to grow professionally, such as respecting the environment, collaborating with our social reality and supporting the development in all our markets. Corporative Social Responsibility is not a temporary trend but a firm conviction in Acesur and thus, Juan Ramon Guillen Foundation is the very embodiment of this social concern to promote the olive field culture.

Even though we are facing difficult times, we must be happy to reach the end of this year 2011 with good results, and this credit shall be taken to all of our employees in Acesur for making possible the growth of this Company and for leaving aside external worries and uncertainties. It worth admit it and thank all of them and encourage them to tackle 2012 as a new challenge, sometimes difficult, but always enthralling, in Acesur.
